A guide to cooking delicious rice using a microwave
Ingredients you need to prepare for cooking rice with a microwave oven include: – 340g of rice (for 4 people) – Microwaveable rice cooker with vent |

Clean the rice. |

Add water. Place your clean index finger into the rice cooker, pour water to cook rice, the water level is measured from the top of your finger touching the rice to the first joint of your index finger. (This joint is measured for an average female hand, if your hand is much larger, use the first joint of your middle finger to measure the water level) |

Cover the lid. Note that the capacity of the rice cooker must be large enough to hold the rice after it is cooked. Set the microwave oven to the highest temperature for about 9 minutes. Then reduce it to medium and cook for another 3 minutes. The rice will be cooked after 12 minutes – much faster than cooking with an electric rice cooker. |
